Some of our service lists are very long, would it be possible for you to make the window longer or the print smaller so more names can be seen at once? That would be most helpful. Thank you.1 vote
I hope that the new Public Service List will now make it easier to view eService Recipients. If you are referring to the Firm Service Contact List, then your admin can shorten this as they please.
I just wanted to point out a typo in the above referenced training video. At the 2:07 mark, stamped is misspelled as "stampeded."0 votes
see questions to support. This shouldn't be so hard.1 vote
I have a suggestion: After filing the "proof of Submission" page comes up. It would be great if, in addition to the "Print" option, a "Save as PDF" option was available. Thank you.1 vote
That is a great idea. I will add it to our list of enhancements.
Would you kindly move the "GO TO..." guy with the big eyes down some so that he's not right on top of the case party slider? Thanks.1 vote
I think it would be helpful to allow us to organize our submissions. For
example, I would prefer to see the Cause Number listed first rather than the date I submitted it.2 votes
We do have that function in our site now but we don’t really talk about it. All you need to do is click on one of the column headers (Cause Number, for example) and drag it over to where you want it.
Case Numbers for new filings- an automatic way to obtain this information without having to go insane first
A way to obtain case number and court number for new filings as soon as possible.1 vote
Not getting court assignments and cause numbers for new filings into Harris District was driving us crazy too.
The problem was caused by some kind of bug in the communication process between eFileTexas and Harris District. eFileTexas was not receiving the new case data from Harris DC so they could not provide it to us.
We still see some occasional issues with this problem but it has been largely resolved by eFileTexas.
Don't let a new case filing happen without asking if want issuance of citation and how service needs to happen. This step was very clear in ProDoc but real muddy water her.
This is an important issue because one has to request issuance of citation before statute of limitations runs.5 votes
Have an option to search for service contacts by state bar of texas number, or at least display state bar of texas number so I can assure i'm adding the correct attorney for service, and not just an attorney with the same name.1 vote
Unfortunately, this is an eFileTexas issue and not something we can control or affect.
eFileTexas saves all data on firms, filers, case parties, attorneys, etc., and we display the data we download from them.
We don’t see that they have any plans to provide the bar number for attorneys on the Public Service Contact list but they will be providing us email addresses in the future.
It doesn't make me want to sign up for your service when one of the first things I read has typo and/or grammer mistakes:
"we know you want and need Proofs of Filings and Service to we provide them to you. And, our experienced support team can quickly answer even your most challenging question about eFiling."

We did update a lot of language on our site, thanks to your feedback, and we did it soon after your comments. But, I forgot to update this ticket and send you the feedback more quickly. Thank you very much for the feedback. Tom
Edit, edit, edit and revise your website, spelling and grammar issues will turn many people away from using your serivce or from even looking any closer at what you provide.1 vote
It was embarrassing to see all those grammar errors. We edited the site several months ago and forgot to update this suggestion accordingly.
Thanks for the feedback!
I got no email from Harris county district clerk but your notification says accepted. I have no case number so I am being held up drafting the next document.5 votes
This is an issue that was caused by a problem between eFileTexas and the Harris District Clerk. Harris District was not providing the cause numbers (and court assignments) to eFileTexas so they could not provide this info to us. This affected all the service providers. For the most part, this issue has been resolved but we still occasionally do not receive court assignments and cause numbers for new case filings in Harris District.
When a document with a file name >50 characters is uploaded, the screen notes the over-length name and provides a box to shorten the name to 50 characters or less. It would help if the screen displayed a live character count as the new file name was typed in, much as many i.m. clients display messages such as "27/50" or "23 characters remaining."2 votes
We added the character counter a couple of months ago but forgot to update this suggestions accordingly. Thanks for the feedback.
