Save "Payment Account" selection to Case Information
On the Case Information page, it appears that the Payment Account selection defaults to the account that was used last. It would be nice if, when you initially enter the information about a case (including the account payments will be made out of), if the Payment Account selection was saved to the case so that, in later filings, the Payment Account selection would pre-fill to the account initially selected.
For example, I have to be very careful to change the Payment Account selection on court appointed cases so I won't be charged. It would be nice if that information was saved to those cases so that the Case Information would already reflect that they are court appointed cases under the Payment Account section, just like it pre-fills other information about the cases.
This suggestion has been brought up to our team and developers and we will discuss if we can make payment accounts populate for cases that have already been filed into.
I can understand your frustration, I will send this suggestion to our developers to see if we can link a certain payment account to that case. I will update once I have a definite answer!
Yes, this would be very helpful, some jurisdictions will not take AMEX and we have to use one attorney's account.
